Steele County Death – On Thursday, July 22, 2020 a man met his end and another got injured after being involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision in Steele County.

According to the Steele County Sheriff’s Office, at about 2:55 p.m., law enforcement and paramedics were called to the 3600 block of Lemond Road on a report of a two-vehicle crash.

Authorities found two vehicles with extensive damage and one person in each vehicle when they arrived at the scene.

The driver of one vehicle was pulled from the vehicle, and lifesaving measures were performed. However, the driver was later pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

According to prelim investigation, one vehicle was northbound and the other was southbound when they collided head-on.
