Christopher Walker, 37 years old, was a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a police car driven by the Fresno Police Department on Thursday evening. Walker has been identified as the victim. On Thursday evening, just before seven o’clock, Walker allegedly walked in front of a police car that was moving eastbound on Shields Avenue. The incident allegedly took place on Thursday. The cruiser was heading in the direction that would put it in line with the sun. It is said that this led to Walker being ran over by the automobile, which is a direct consequence of what happened.
According to the officer, they immediately began doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after calling for emergency medical services and continued doing so as they waited for them to arrive. After some time, it was determined that Walker had passed away at the scene of the collision.
