Adolfo Aguado Death – The victim involved in the fatal shooting that happened at a home near 13th and Washington on Monday morning, July 13, has been identified by the Lincoln Police as 48-year-old Adolfo Aguado.

According to Chief Jeff Bliemeister’s report, The deceased and his son Adolfo Oritz, 21, had a dispute and as the family members tried to escort Oritz out of the house, he retrieved a gun, fired several shots while leaving and one of the shots hit his father, Aguado.

Aguado was pronounced dead at the scene, says Bliemeister.

Oritz was arrested immediately after witness interviews and his own interview. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Investigation is still ongoing, says Bliemeister.
