Alexander Terrell Death | Drowned At 24 In Meramac River

Alexander Terrell Death – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed the death and identity of a man who died after trying to help someone on Sunday afternoon, July 19, on the Meramac River, as 24-year-old Alexander Terrell, of Jefferson City.

According to the MSHP online report, Terrell was on the Meramac, 1.25 miles downstream from the Onondaga boat ramp.

Terrell went into the water to help someone who was in trouble in the water in Crawford County between Saint Louis and Rolla.

He unfortunately went under water and never resurfaced.

Terrell was pronounced dead at a Sullivan hospital.

Investigation is still ongoing.
