Andy Haden Death | Obituary –  Former New Zealand rugby union player and All Black captain, Andy Haden age 69  passed away on 29 July 2020, Auckland, New Zealand, With 117 games including 41 Tests, Andy was one of the true greats of our game.

Andrew Maxwell Haden was a New Zealand rugby union player and All Black captain. He played at lock for Auckland and New Zealand from 1972 until 1985. He also played club rugby in the United Kingdom and Italy.

We are never ready to say goodbye forever even though we know it is a part of life. This day our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special, but as we mourn your death, we also celebrate your life. Rest in peace.

It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is. We wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever. We promise to keep you alive in Our memories.

Even in death, you are still loved and forever will be. You have touched the hearts of so many who owe you a lifetime of gratitude. We are not saying goodbye forever but goodbye for now. We pray you find peace and rest wherever you are.

We express our sympathy and deepest condolences to Andy Haden’s family today and in the days, weeks, months, and years that are to come as they cope with his passing. May his soul rest in peace.
