He was pronounced dead by the medical examiner on scene.
According to investigation which commenced immediately he was reported missing, it appeared Timple was swimming near a boat with friends when he started having trouble and called out for help. Timple’s friends tried to assist him, but he went under the water and didn’t come up again.
His friends immediately called 911 and searched the area in the boat.
The search for Timple resumed on Sunday morning by members of the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team.
According to a safety specialist warden with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Jason Roberts, said Timple was not wearing a personal flotation device.
“He went under the surface and 911 was called (from the boat) once they lost sight of him,” says Roberts. “The Pewaukee Boat Patrol responded and couldn’t find him. The effort to recover the individual has been ongoing since Saturday.”
According to Roberts, the decease was suspected to be drinking alcohol.
Investigation is still ongoing and handled by the DNR.
