Buddy Scotto Death | Buddy Scotto Obituary – Buddy Scotto who was a trailblazing activist for the Gowanus Canal clean-up and CSO management, has passed away. Salvatore “Buddy” Scotto died on Friday, 11th of September 2020 at the age of 91.
TributeArchive reported that Buddy faithfully served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was active in the Army Reserves. Reports reveals that Buddy retired as a Captain in the Army. His obituary states that he was a longtime community activist, who founded the Carroll Gardens Association, which built affordable housing and was a persistent voice for the clean-up of the Gowanus Canal.
