Cambridge Road Death – The authorities have confirmed the death of a woman believed to be in her 50s who passed on after her involvement in a fatal road crash involving three vehicles on Friday morning, July 31, 2020.
The decease woman was driving a black Renault Clio on Cambridge Road just before 11.30 am Friday.
The woman died at the scene. The police is yet to confirm and release her identity.
The driver of the second vehicle driving a grey Peugeot 308 suffered minor injuries in the collision, while a female passenger in the same car suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Both the male driver and the passenger were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
The third vehicle was a black Volvo XC40, which landed on its roof.
Due to the accident, the road was closed as emergency services attended the scene, but expected to be open before 5pm, says the police.
Investigation is still ongoing.
