Claudia Koenig Death – Obituary, Funeral, Cause Of Death
Claudia Koenig 1955-2021
Approximately ten years ago, after teaching my annual seminar at The Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove, my daughter Morrow told me of a very special couple in attendance whom she had met. My intense schedule during the weekend prevented me from meeting them, but the next year on the opening evening of my seminar, Morrow came up and said, “Mom. That beautiful lady and her husband are back! They are here!” So I arranged for Morrow and I to have lunch with them both following the Sunday morning closing session.
And that began a very precious friendship with a very extraordinary couple. I have considered them to be among my closest friends. While Bill Koenig has authored several books that connect Biblical prophecy with world events, as a former White House Correspondent who served for twenty years, he also writes a weekly news journal and posts daily news. He is a watchman of the finest caliber (Ezekiel 33:1-20). You can find him at www.watch.org
On the other hand, Claudia has been a prayer partner, a companion, an encourager—a total blessing. Following our meeting, she and Bill came to every one of my annual Cove seminars. She hosted me for a women’s meeting in Jerusalem for over 100 of her Jewish friends, accompanied me to a special prayer time for Kevin McCarthy at our nation’s capitol, and joined me multiple times as I taught on video in Israel. But far and away the most phenomenal characteristic of this incredible lady was her gift for one-on-one evangelism. I still stand in awe as I heard and witnessed her bold, courageous, forthright presentations wrapped in such warm compassion that they were irresistible. And it’s the stories and pictures of those she led to faith in Jesus that I want to share with you.

You will be blessed, encouraged, and taught by her example.
Claudia remained focused on the Gospel until the very end. The last person she prayed with to receive Jesus was her oncologist the week before she passed into glory. On Friday, September 10, after an eight-year battle with cancer, Jesus came to take Claudia Home. While my tears flow and my heart aches, I trust the One who is… the Resurrection and the Life. [She] who believes in me will live, even though [she]dies John 11:25 . I am confident that this life is not all there is, and that I will see my very precious friend again, in our Father’s House.
