The Sangamon County Coroner has been successful in determining the identity of the individual who passed away as a result of the car accident that took place on Route 104 close to Interstate 55 on Thursday afternoon. Coroner Jim Allmon was able to determine that the deceased person was a woman named LaDonna Rude, who was 42 years old and from Pawnee. It was discovered that she had been killed in the accident and her body was found at the scene.
It appears that Rude passed away as a result of a variety of injuries brought on by blunt force that she sustained as a result of the vehicle collision, as indicated by the preliminary findings of an autopsy that was carried out on Friday. At this time, the investigation into the decedent being investigated by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Illinois State Police is still ongoing.
