Dayton Conrad Death – The body of a Ronan man who drown near Polson last weekend has been recovered and identified by the authorities as 21-year-old Dayton Conrad.
The Lake County Sheriff Don Bell reports that the body of Dayton was recovered from the Flathead River near Buffalo Bridge at around 11 p.m. on Thursday.
According to a friend of Dayton, on July 18, Dayton jumped from the Buffalo Cliffs, was unable to swim to shore, and was last seen being pulled under the surface of the water by the current.
A search was initiated immediately but were unsuccessful.
The family of Dayton asked the Sheriff’s Office to pass on their gratitude to all who assisted in the locating and recovery of Dayton, according to a news release.
