Had some good times with Big Daddy Graham when he hosted quizzo at the Circle Tavern. Question No. 7 every week was “True or False: Howard Eskin is a woman.” RIP.

So sad to wake up to the news of Big Daddy Graham’s passing. He was the sole reason I got into talk radio. Started listening to @SportsRadioWIP about 4-5 years ago on my way into work and he always got my early morning going with a laugh. RIP BDG.

We lost a Philadelphia radio and comedy legend in Big Daddy Graham who I’ve been listening to on WIP since I was a kid. I also saw him perform stand up once and he was really funny and more risqué than I expected. My condolences to his family and friends

With all of that, the words are starting to get more emotional as I type them. Big Daddy Graham, THANK YOU for being a voice I needed at some dark moments as my adult life was beginning to take shape. Thank you for your kindness when I worked in the same floor as you..

I learned last night of the passing of my friend Big Daddy Graham. A gem of a man. A diamond in the rough. A funny, hard-working and quirky sweetheart of a guy with no filter. My pal, my co-author. We will all miss him.
I just woke to hear the news of my old friend and the first Headliner to take me on the road Big Daddy Graham has passed. He was a force of nature, who LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Philadelphia. He was Mr. PHILLY!! Big Dufus in a bowling shirt! Headline the main room in Heaven Ed and I hope you sell a lot of cassettes!!! #Philly is a little less #Philly w/o you!
Woke up this morning to the heartbreaking news that Philly legend Big Daddy Graham passed away last night. Talk about a character.
Whether the conversation was about sports, music or comedy, the man was always a joy to talk to. He was so passionate about so many things, and that passion was infectious.
I was honored to be a guest on his Wildfire Radio music podcast a couple of times. Those appearances led to me hosting my own podcast with David Uosikkinen, and I will be forever grateful to Big Daddy for that.
I wrote a bunch of stories on him through the years. My favorite was on the occasion of his 25th anniversary of performing at the Bucks County Comedy Cabaret in Doylestown for our friend Andy Scarpati: “25 things you didn’t know about Big Daddy Graham.” Reading back on his answers eight years later, I can’t help hearing them in his unmistakable voice.
RIP, Big. My deepest condolences to his friends, family, and all whose lives he touched.
