Doc Bobby Roberson Death | Obituary – Doc Bobby Roberson sadly passed away, Doc was a good soul and filled with positive energy, he will forever be missed.
Doc Bobby Roberson was one of my best friends, encouraged me to pursue my faith when I was a college freshman, stay away from all the bad stuff most freshman try, introduced me to Chemical Engineering when I had never even heard of it and introduced me to Auburn when I grew up an Alabama fan. He was in my wedding, he was there for me when my parents weren’t, and even paid my tuition one semester at Auburn when I thought I couldn’t afford to go to college anymore. For the past 10 years we have celebrated our friendship walking on PCola beach every September. I was already looking forward to my visit this coming September. I think I took the picture of his first kidney stone when he was hospitalized in 1978. He flew to Texas when my only son was dying from Sarcoma. I loved him like a best friend, a Christian brother and a father. I will miss our friendship till the day I die. I hope he is visiting with my son, Josh, in heaven right now!
We are never ready to say goodbye forever even though we know it is a part of life. This day our hearts are heavy for losing someone so special, but as we mourn your death, we also celebrate your life. Rest in peace.
It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is. I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever. I promise to keep you alive in my memories.
Even in death, you are still loved and forever will be. You have touched the hearts of so many who owe you a lifetime of gratitude. We are not saying goodbye forever but goodbye for now. I pray you to find peace and rest wherever you are.
We express our sympathy and deepest condolences to Bobby’s family today and in the days, weeks, months, and years that are to come as they cope with his passing. May his soul rest in peace.
