Dominic Sonic Death | Obituary – Singer&musician punk Dominic Sonic, passed away on July 23, 2020,  At the end of the Lycée, he joined the punk group of Lamballe Kalashnikov at the age of 16 for 6 years of increasingly violent concerts. The group released a mini-album in 1984 on Madrigal and gave more than 300 concerts.

Produced in 1987 the model of his first solo album Cold Tears which was released in 1989 by the Belgian label Crammed Discs (sold more than 40,000 copies in Europe).

Philippe Constantin (director of the Barclay label) signs Dominic Sonic by purchasing his contract from Crammed Discs.

Recorded the second album in 1991 ( untitled ) for Barclay.

He finds himself locked up for 6 months in a hospital room (following an accident during a Hungarian tour) in 1993 where he will be able to resume writing. Which will lead to the album Les Leurres released in 94 by Barclay

Left Barclay at the end of 1996 then released Essais 94-96 under his own label, distributed by Musidisc before the latter was bought by Universal .

Took part in the Transmusicales de Rennes in 2002 as a surprise guest of the Stooges, then a few festivals in 2003 and 2004 including the Vieilles cherries, the Francos, the Trans.

The October 15, 2007fate Phalanstery # 7 the 5 th album on Cold tears records / Village Green / Wagram.

In January 2008he performed alongside Jackie Berroyer in Nantes in the play La Loi des poor gens, named after one of his songs.
