Earlier Morning Crash in Southern State Parkway kills 4 – On Tuesday, 15th of September 2020, the Police identified all those involved in the SSP crash. According to reports, Marvin Balcaseres, 33 of Farmingdale, the driver of 1998 Toyota Camry was going the wrong way on Southern State Parkway by Exit 29 when the Camry collided with Nissan Rogue, 2011 driven by 67 years old Ruben Sanchez-Flores, of Hempstead. Both died at the scene due to the collision. Reports reveals that the passengers inside the Rogue identified as Edith Magana, 56, and Ivis Sanchez-Cordova, 34, both of Hempstead also died.
Laura Uhle mentioned in a Facebook post that another passenger in the Rogue, Nadia Sanchez-Cordova, 44, of Hempstead is still at the local hospital in critical condition. Roberto Mack, 32, of Conyers, GA, the motorcyclist who was riding the 2000 Honda motorcycle is in stable condition. Another driver, Steven Miller, 50 of Queens driving a 2011 Suzuki SUV was involved but sustained non-life threatening injuries. Police are continuing with the investigation, Laura Uhle said.
