Ernie Moss Death – Obituary : Ernie Moss Dead at age 71 – Ernie Moss, a Chesterfield legend passed away after long battle with dementia at the age of 71.
Moss was a legendary English footballer who player majorly for his home town club, Chesterfield, where in three separate spells spanning nearly 20 years he made 539 appearances, scoring a club record 192 goals.
Reports states that Moss was later voted PFA Fans’ Favourites and cult hero number one by the club’s supporters.
Moss died on Sunday, 11th of July 2021 after living more than 15 years with Pick’s disease. It’s a type of dementia relating to Alzheimer’s and he had symptoms in his 50s.
