42-year-old Jason Quincey Niccum was shot and killed on Monday, November 25, 2019 during a stand-off with law-enforcement officers in Great Falls.
Niccum’s name was released Wednesday by John Barnes of the Montana Department of Justice.
Report says officers from several law enforcement agencies, including the Great Falls Police Department, were involved in a situation with an armed suspect – later identified as Niccum – in the 1300 block of 3rd Alley Northwest.
The response included the High-Risk Unit vehicle. The GFPD said in a Facebook post at the time that the incident was “potentially volatile,” and asked several nearby residents to leave the area until the situation was resolved.
