Jason Smith Missing – Help Locate Jason Smith
44-year-old Jason Smith has now been missing for more than two weeks now, and his mother, Amy Santiago, continues to search throughout Evansville in an attempt to find her son.
“You just have to come home,” said Santiago. “You have to come home. His name is Jason Smith. He’s got brown hair and brown eyes. He’s about 6’2 and weighs about 150. He’s very thin, so he always wears big shirts.”
He was last seen five days ago across the street from a Huck’s off of North Diamond Ave.
Jason is mentally challenged, and does not have a cell phone or a car, so he is most likely still on foot.
“He’s very calm, and he never even gets mad at anything or anybody, so if you do approach him, don’t be scared,” said Santiago. “He won’t hurt you or bother you.”
Jason was last seen leaving his home on June 2 wearing jeans, a t-shirt, sandals, and a black backpack, and Santiago continues to search for her son.
“Looking,” said Santiago. “Just looking. I’m Just driving and looking everywhere… everywhere.
And she isn’t alone in her search. The Evansville police department has joined in to help, and they ask you to contact their detectives office if you believe you’ve seen this man.
