Judge John Pickrel was the longest-serving Judge on the Dayton Municipal Court bench and was the founder for its mental health docket. He would be missed dearly by many, family, and friends. The cause of death was not stated.
It is with great sadness that ADAMHS mourns the passing of Montgomery County Municipal Court Judge John Pickrel. Judge Pickrel was instrumental in the establishment of the community’s mental health court, which was a model for many other Ohio jurisdictions.
