Mark Nienhouse Death – The Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel after responding to a single vehicle crash that happened on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 on Hwy 234 near mile post 12, have identified the victims that died in the crash as 42-year-old Mark Nienhouse, of Medford and 30-year-old Jennifer Ayala, of Central Point.

At approximately 10:44 p.m, the officials responded to the scene.

After prelim investigation, it was revealed that a Honda motorcycle, operated by Nienhouse  was traveling west on Hwy 234 when it struck an elk in the roadway.

Nienhouse and his passenger, Ayala sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead.

Investigation is still on.
