How Did Mark Stephen Setar Died? What Happened?

The 56-year-old man of Canonsburg was killed in an accident that occurred at the South Hills Village T Station, Saturday morning.

Mark’s body was found on the Port Authority’s tracks near the South Hills Village station. The Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner on Saturday afternoon identified the body as Mark Stephen Setar, 56, of Canonsburg.

Setar’s cause of death was not immediately revealed. His body was found at about 5:47 a.m., by a T operator. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It has been learned that the victim was likely struck by a T train and discovered by the following T train operator,” according to the police release..

Investigation is ongoing.
