Miles Spear Death – The Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson has identified the man who drowned in the Wolf River on Thursday afternoon as 24-year-old Miles Spear, of Bay St. Louis.

Spears body was found on Friday morning, July 17, 2020.

According to police report, a group of 5 friends, suspected to be in their mid-20s, went swimming in the Wolf River under the Bells Ferry Bridge when the current pulled one person under.

The visibility was near zero due to mud and recent rain, says Peterson.

Peterson confirmed that similar incident happened last year when a Long Beach High School senior, Peyton Taylor Henson drowned.
