Missing Chula Vista Woman – May “Maya” Millete Disappearance

It has been 3 months since a 39-year-old mother of three went missing from her Chula Vista home and investigation is still ongoing. Maya Millete is yet to be found since went missing. On the evening of January 9, 2021, Maya’s sisters reported about her sudden disappearance.

The city’s police chief is assuring everyone that is concerned about the disappearance of Maya that her department is still working and investigating Maya’s disappearance.

Millete had planned to take her three children, ages 4, 9 and 11, on a trip to Big Bear for her daughter’s birthday before she suddenly went missing.

Chula Vista Police Chief Roxana Kennedy is asking the public to share any tips directly with the Chula Vista Police Department at 619-691-5151 or through San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. Tips shared elsewhere “leads to misinformation and complicates the investigation,” she said.

After sharing few details from investigation into missing of Maya, detectives say even the smallest clues could lead to a break in the case so they will keep working.
