Missing Michael Fuksa Found Dead- Full Details Here.
According to information, authorities have now identified human remains discovered on Sunday near Casper as a man who disappeared from six years ago while traveling through Wyoming.
Report states that Michael “Bradyn” Fuksa died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to Connie Jacobson, he reported on Friday Morning that a 9 mm Beretta was found near his remains.
Authorities connected the gun to Fuksa through a serial number on the weapon. His identity was confirmed through dental records.
Fuksa was from Olathe, Kansas. He disappeared July 2009 and he was last seen changing a flat tire near Wheatland.
Later that day, a state trooper reported his Ford Explorer abandoned on Interstate 25 at mile marker 122.
Officials don’t know how he got from there to the Wolf Creek area, west of Wal-Mart off of CY Avenue, where two people found his bones while hiking Sunday.
Authorities hope to release Fuksa’s body to his family by the end of the weekend or early next week.
