Randy Gowton Death – The victim of a fatal motorcycle collision that happened on Wednesday night, July 15, in Westmoreland County , has been identified as 50-year-old Randy Gowton, of Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

Gowton was riding his motorcycle and crashed  into a deer near Cook Township Wednesday night.

Gowton was operating a motorcycle around 10 p.m. Wednesday. He was traveling on State Route 711 near Riggs Lane in Stahlstown, when the bike came into contact with a deer, says the police.

Gowton was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
