Rosa Welch Death – The authorities have confirmed the death and released the identity of a Georgia woman who was found dead in a car on Monday, August 24 as Rosa Welch, 30.
Welch was reported missing more than a month ago, says the police.
Her body was recovered in Americus, Georgia, on Monday night after a passerby spotted her vehicle 100 yards from the road and notified the police, says WSB-TV.
According to official report, a woman in her 30s was reported missing on July 6 which is believed to be the day Welch’s car veered off the road and struck a tree.
Welch’s sister, Tiffany Hogg says, “I was still trying to have faith that she was alive. It’s devastating, [because] like I said, she was my best friend, and now I don’t have her … Now we’re waiting to find out when we can plan her funeral.”
Investigation is still ongoing into what may have caused Welch’s accident as officials await the toxicology result.
