The Fresno County Coroner’s Office was able to identify the female victim who passed away on Wednesday as a result of being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Herndon and Del Rey avenues in Fresno County, which is located east of Clovis. According to official sources, Mary Phister, who was 81 years old, was hit by a car on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., and she later passed away as a result of her injuries.
