31-year-old Tiffany Gilliam is fighting for her life after getting shot in the face in Philadelpia’s Overbrook section.
The incident happened on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in front of Wilson Day Care Center at 67th Street and Lansdowne Avenue.
The shooting happened before 5:30 a.m and a security video has been released. Police are searching for the gunman that shot Gilliam in the face while she was on her way to work, according to report.
According to Tiffany Gilliam’s family, she is a mother of two young children.
From what we gathered from the video, Gilliam walking down the stairs outside of the day care center when the gunman approached her.
There was conversation between them before the man brought out a gun and fired it at Gilliam’s face. However, was able to make a defense move but she was still struck in the face area.
Gilliam banged the door of a car waiting to pick her up and was rushed to Lankenau Medical Center, where she is in critical condition.
