William Irby Death – After the drowning of a DeSoto County deputy who died while trying to rescue his 10-year-old son from drowning in Sandestin, Florida, on July 22, another father has lost his life in same incident.

The authorities have confirmed the death of another Mississippi father identified as 40-year-old William Irby of New Albany who drowned on Monday afternoon, July 27, while trying to save his teenage son in rough surf off a beach in Florida.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat reports, Irby drowned in rough waters of St. George Island

After the bystanders brought the teen to shore they went back and brought Irby to the shore as well,  but unconscious, says the outlet report.

All efforts to resuscitate him proved futile and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
